It is designed support High School students in developing cultural humility, leadership skills, and reducing stereotypes. The program provides faculty-led seminars, experiential learning, and mentorship.I worked to develop the program in Winter 2018 in conjunction with the program co-Directors. Since then, the program has worked with 91 high school students, 13 High Schools, 20 high school teachers/staff, and 21 undergraduate mentors. The capstone projects regarding enhancing inclusivity on high school campuses are organized by high school students and have estimated to reach over 12,000 students, administrators, and teachers. Accomplishments as Program Manager: • Develop and manage all program operations, establish long & short-range planning• Establish a Faculty Curriculum Advisory Committee and facilitate meetings • Analyze whether proposed activities align with overall goals and objectives of the program, provide feedback and generate solutions • Liaison between Program and OC Department of Education, local High School principals, teachers, and students• Develop and compile information systems to retain institutional knowledge, maintain files on many types of data including: recruitment information, projects, current participant information, and archive previous years’ data. • Prepare program and budget reports.     The Olive Tree Initiative (OTI) is an undergraduate University program dedicated to expanding learning beyond the classroom and providing conflict analysis skills through mentorship and traveling opportunities to the regions studied (either the Middle East or the South Caucasus). A majority of my duties entailed:• Planned and implemented annual Gala fundraiser and Matching-Grant fundraiser• Managed annual leadership development weekend conference for 60 OTI students and alumni for chapters from UCLA, UC Berkeley, Chapman University, San Diego State, and more• Established systems of operations for retaining institutional knowledge• Established objectives, organized and co-facilitated the trip preparation “Bootcamp” for all of the OTI chapters as they prepare for their conflict analysis trips to Israel, Jordan, and Palestinian Territories.     I worked on the pilot year of the UC Irvine program, Deconstructing Diversity Initiative (DDI) with the program directors and faculty advisors. This program is a year-long course for undergraduate students as they study topics of policy, economics, and society in order to examine race and racism. They then travel throughout the United States to meet with guest speakers and view the lived experience across the country. After this travel experience, students are encouraged to establish projects that foster inclusivity. I managed all of the logistics for the 19 person trip across the United States (contacting speakers and solidifying the agenda, reserving hotels, meals, flight and bus transportation, submitting travel insurance and account reimbursements). I created institutional documents so that the logistical information could be retained and could then be passed off after the program's pilot was completed.
