My responsibilities include calculation and preparation of the Annual Service Charge estimates, actuals and rents. This includes ensuring all charges are in line with individual leases. I have a responsibility to investigate and resolve complex service charge related queries and provide support for the Property Managers.Throughout the year I work alongside our Treasury department to reconcile accounts and bring them up to date so we can charge against current schemes.I ensure charging issues on managed schemes are resolved through relationship management and sound accounting practices to deliver desired outcomes.I work alongside various departments within Thames Valley Housing, these include Finance, Revenues, Leasehold and Sales, Marketing and Development. Currently I have become heavily involved with the Development Team to calculate service charges for new schemes. This has allowed me to gain a better understanding of the process from beginning to end.
