The Spear is the only student-run publication in the California State Universities (CSU). I was part of a small team of designers, editors, and writers. I was responsible for designing monthly magazine layouts for sport's articles. I also trained a new designers to grow the design team for the following year.

For one semester I took up an Internship to gain a deeper understanding of advertising sales. At The Spartan Daily, I was responsible for writing contracts, proposals, and responding to client inquiries daily. I pitched advertising daily in SJSU’s newspaper, website, and social media platforms to local businesses. I was part of a small sales team dedicated to meeting the sales goals of the Spartan Daily in 2020. The Spartan Daily was awarded as the #1 Best College Newspaper in California by California College Media Association in February 2020.

In college I assisted a professor in generating online assignments, tests, and solving troubleshooting issues for his Wireless Tech courses. I also participated on the judging panel for his student presentations for three semesters.

AR Technologies (Advanced Recognition Technologies) is a software company in Tucson, Arizona that provides license plate recognition to the tolling industry. I collaborated with Engineers to design animations that convey the messages in their technical presentations.

Summer position: I assisted a business owner by improving her social media marketing across Instagram and Facebook. I also developed the Ocean Beach Town Council event banner of 2016 and designed flyers for a fundraising event for a City Council member who was running for Mayor back in 2016.
