At Business Talk we offer a results-driven business English training program that strives to help professionals in Santiago perform their English tasks and work responsibilities with ease. Our mission is to provide language-based solutions for businesses that use English in an increasingly competitive market via our customized English curriculum.

Participating English teacher in a new model of corporate language training to transform the primary language of Industrial Solutions, a GE company, from Spanish to English. This program of corporate immersion will last 22 months with a final goal of achieving working proficiency in English for every one of its employees in the corporate headquarters in all departments. We are collaborating with Harvard Business School, which is following our students' progress and studying how this type of organizational change can be achieved. Our goal is to investigate how language is acquired and spreads in an environment of language immersion and to create a model so that our program can be replicated elsewhere

•Lead training sessions for colleagues on best practices when developing new curriculum•Develop online and face-to-face English curricula for eClass’s standard courses and for clients requesting 100% customized material•Conduct on-going research regarding best practices for face-to-face, online, and blended language learning

•Assisted management of the customer service/info center and sales department at AFS USA•Worked closely with office managers to improve communication standards with our students and families and to develop new initiatives to improve organization’s student outreach and presence in local community•Supervised seasonal staff on an on-going basis, which included hiring new staff when needed, leading and managing training sessions for new staff and providing ongoing professional development classes to seasonal staff•Designed staff training materials and student materials which included improving our online webinar sessions and redesigning our email templates

•Conducted extensive research on the theoretical framework that informed HHI’s curriculum and their training structure •Published a report titled ‘An Analysis of the Theoretical Framework of Hands to Hearts International’ •Developed new partner packets, new training guides and new manuals for Master Trainers, Training of Trainers and other workshops that are published and disbursed throughout India, Uganda, Russia, Swaziland and the United States•Interviewed early childhood educators, HHI board members, and HHI contributors from around the globe

•Worked with university students who were studying English at ELS with the intention of transferring to a university in the US•Taught from ELS curriculum, but also incorporated my own lessons to accommodate students’ English needs and to accommodate students’ professional interests

•Taught variety of English classes including beginner, intermediate, advanced, professional/business, TOEFL test prep, TOECI test prep, IELTS test prep and GRE test prep•Worked with students of all ages and from diverse backgrounds
