As a resident of Jakarta for eight years I had first-hand insights into the cultural diversity and beauty of this city. Blogging gave me the opportunity to engage with communities, listen and share their stories.

An educator and counsellor, over more than 20 years I held multiple roles that enabled me to have a very personal impact on the wellbeing of students in my care. Most significantly I supported students in Years 7-12 as Head of Year / Group Coordinator in Pastoral Care. I worked collaboratively with students and the St Vincent de Paul Society in a Student Outreach Program. I also project managed and coordinated several large scale school fundraising and community events.
