As a talent acquisition professional, I led the hiring efforts for all of Ferguson's entry-level training programs across our extensive network of over 1,600 locations throughout the United States. One of the primary aspects of this role is the strategic regional ownership which defines the recruitment strategies that align with each region's unique needs and opportunities.While the regions I supported varied year over year, this regional ownership allowed me to take a hands-on approach in tailoring recruitment strategies to meet the unique demands and opportunities within each location. By analyzing market trends, collaborating with local stakeholders, and leveraging data-driven insights, I ensured that Ferguson was driving a strategic hiring effort as a market leader in every region we operate.

As a key contributor to Ferguson's Recruiting Team, I played a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and on-campus success in attracting new and entry-level talent. In this capacity, I provide operational support to Ferguson's Regional Recruiters in various ways, including inventory control, strategic event planning, candidate experience management, and travel coordination.Through inventory control and management, I ensured the availability of essential recruitment resources for seamless execution of our activities. Additionally, I strategically planned and coordinated impactful hiring events, such as recruiting programs bringing together 50+ candidates and associates. Additionally, delivering an exceptional candidate experience was prioritized. I handled candidate communication, provided timely updates, and addressed concerns, fostering a positive impression of our company throughout the recruitment process.By providing valuable operational support, I helped to optimizes the recruitment process, strengthen our team's effectiveness, and reinforced Ferguson's reputation as an employer of choice.

A key highlight of my role involved skillfully matching youth with adult volunteers, forging impactful one-to-one mentoring relationships. Through regular phone and in-person meetings, I monitored and assessed matches, maintaining meticulous records of all case supervision contacts.
