In this role, I was met with various tasks such as Canva Designs and learning how to effectively create posters for social media. I also learned how to work Meta Business Suit and other social media scheduling tools to make and create posts. I was also in charge of NationBuilder, where I crafted emails to various groups of people to discuss the latest campaigns and updates. During my time at Massive I learned to create a news story weekly and keep up with the weekly deadline in order to meet editor standards.I was able to dig deep into a story and find people who were willing to discuss the situation, I managed to grow my interviewing, writing skills as I progressed in this role. Occasionally I would be a photographer and take timely and well processed pictures.

I started off as a Massey Guide, which is helping students find their way around Massey life, but I quickly became the social media manager of the Massey Guide Instagram. In this role I kept up to date with engagement and provided ideas in group meeting. In this role, I was the person to go to if there was an idea to post related to Massey that might help students. I managed to stay afloat with my deadlines which was weekly and learned valuable design skills and marketing skills.

As a Massey Guide I am apart of a unique role. I am able to effectively provide students support and value towards their new experience at University. I'm in charge of the Massey Guide Social Media Instagram (masseypedia) where I create visually appealing posts, keep up to date with events and clubs at the Campus and guide individuals around the campus.
