I am currently a substitute teacher and floating aid at Acorn Academy. I am responsible for planning educational and entertaining activities, facilitating socialization, teaching conflict resolution strategies, maintaining a safe environment, aiding in the toilet training process, communicating with parents, responding to physical injuries, monitoring indoor/outdoor play, stimulating creativity, and overall shaping all areas of child development.

I am currently a student teacher in a third grade class. I am responsible for lesson planning, teaching, grading assignments, regulating classroom management, curriculum mapping, providing extra help to struggling students, participating in school events, contributing to 3rd grade team meetings, attending staff meetings, organizing classroom materials, creating learning centers, planning forms of assessment, evaluating forms of assessment to guide instruction, and helping my cooperating teacher with a variety of other responsibilities.

Oversees studying for exams and creating study guides, as well as other studying strategies.Takes children out for outings, walks and educational trips. Attends academic seminars and school meetings to benefit the children's academics. Arranges games & other entertainment activities for children to create a positive child care environment. Previously worked for the McCarthy family for 7 months from July 2011 - January 2012.

Researched fortune 1,000 companies that could be potential prospects for Naficy's consulting services. I also updated and organized existing contact information, spreadsheets, and other information. The point of my research was to build a larger prospect base for my boss and her clients.
