• Led two field teams in delineating natural resources along the entire 15 mile stretch of the Maryland Transportation Authority’s (MDTA) I-895 corridor - Delineated wetlands, streams, forest stands and specimen trees within the right-of-way - Coordinated daily with MDTA traffic attenuator drivers, acting as the field safety chief, to ensure the well-being of field crew and protection of field equipment/company vehicle - Processed GPS data and managed field data for proper assessment of environmental impacts - Developed wetland letter report and completed Joint Permit Application for the streams and wetlands within the limit-of-disturbance - Edited field maps developed in ArcMap and Erosion and Sediment plans developed in AutoCAD to accurately display delineated features • Attended field walks for several projects with representatives from Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) and U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers (USACE) to verify previous delineations - Coordinated with state agencies to ensure delineations were completed to industry standards• Completed a five day wetland delineation training course taught by Environmental Concern • Surveyed pavement and utilities using a Trimble total station to accurately measure the elevation and location of such features for a major gas and electric company • Measured bioswales throughout the state to identify areas of storm water runoff capture as part of the Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) requirement under the Clean Water Act

- Worked closely with Maryland State Highway to create current maps and to sort parcels within each MD county- Tracked invasive plant species along state roads using handheld GPS devices and portable Tough Book computers to gather information on the species' movement patterns, displaying trends on ArcMap software- Used Camtasia software to create "How-to" guides to navigate through the FEMA flood plain procedures on the Maryland Environmental Service website- Conducted a storm water management analysis at Salisbury DMV in Maryland
