I am a senior at Wayne State University, where I am studying and learning about the public relations field. While at Wayne State, I took courses in mass communication, public relations writing, organizational communication, and journalism. I have also become involved in the Public Relations Student Society of America chapter at WSU since my first year. I served as the VP of fundraising and membership for the 2022-2023 school year and the chapter president for the 2023-2024 school year. Currently, I serve on the executive board as Past President. I am also a peer mentor for the public relations program at WSU.I was excited to secure my first internship as a communications intern at Epiphany Communications. I developed my press release, pitch, follow-up, newsletter, and blog writing skills in this position. I worked for a wide range of clients, including business organizations, non-profits, and trade companies. I am currently learning from my second internship position at PRSA Detroit as a fall intern. In this position, I am furthering my social media skills, event promotion skills, and blog writing skills.
