I am a part of Longhorn Racing Solar, a student run and led organization at The University of Texas at Austin where engineers design and manufacture a solar car from scratch. As the aeroshell lead of this team, I manage everything that goes into producing the large composite exterior of the car.- Spends 20+ hours/week managing the aeroshell system of a student-ran solar car team- Facilitates and streamlines manufacturing of large carbon-fiber and fiberglass composites with complex geometry- Provides comprehensive teaching to members about different layup methods, composite material selection, and quality control measures. - Made a system timeline to keep on track with the vehicle timeline, then set goals and procured materials in accordance with system timeline- Drew up and negotiated budget with other FSAE teams
