I am a literacy consultant, certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist, Reading Specialist and systems thinker, bringing 18 years of diverse experience in the education field across three continents.My specialties and areas of focus include: the alignment of literacy assessment, curriculum and instruction with evidence- and research-based practices that promote equity and inclusion and finding intersections between literacy, content and global education.My work is two-pronged:Promoting Literacy Growth: individualized intervention for K-8 students facing reading difficulties. Guiding Literacy Growth: providing strategic thinking and guidance to international elementary schools. This includes auditing schools' literacy systems, identifying priorities for literacy initiatives and assisting in planning and executing more sustainable implementation processes.
