Conducted emergency risk assessments for clients to determine if criteria is met for an ECO/TDO. Once disposition is determined, I followed through with either a safety plan or a court order to carry out the TDO process.

These two positions involved conducting clinical assessments and counseling children in the school setting.

Within “Family Preservation Services” I worked in a variety of roles. Specifically, I counseled foster care/biological families in bettering the lives of the involved foster children. I provided assistance in finding adequate housing, financial services, educational resources, recreational outlets, parenting supports and assistance with any other presenting need the client may bring to session. During an internship I participated in developing the “Mental Health Skill Building” services to include attending regional meetings and building a clientele. Also, I filled the first case manager position within the agency developed for me by the directors. I am skilled in establishing rapport, empowering/motivating clients with severe, chronic mental illnesses to complete tasks needed to function independently in society. I conducted clinical assessments for several programs and submitted information to “Keypro” for authorization. Networking has been a particular strength in collaborating for wrap-around services. Additionally, I trained and utilized the “Seven Challenges” substance abuse approach for clients in need of these services. Other services I provided include; “Therapeutic Day Treatment Services”, “Virtual Residency Program”.

Provided comprehensive FAPT case management for at-risk youth and their families, including the coordination of services within the schools and community agencies as well as presenting to FAPT. I have occupied the position of school representative, attending all IEP meetings, treatment team meetings, quarterly review meetings as well as special concerns meetings for Warren County Public School students in out of school placements.

Monitored and provided instruction for special needs children of a diverse population. Implemented individual behavior plans and provided crisis intervention. Documented concerns and progress on a daily basis. Worked in the capacity of a job coach with students and provided on the job instruction and support. Performed the duties of a residential instructor on campus and in various group homes.

Provided direct care, support and guidance as clients moved through their daily schedules. Provided individual and group counseling and led group activities. Submitted progress reports, documenting all relevant information.

Provided case management and support to students in a residential program. Provided individual and group counseling to residents and their families. Held weekly parent support groups, wrote services plans, attended academic and treatment team meetings and implemented and developed individual behavioral plans.
