Maintain currency of the new Cerner EHR build and configuration in quality reporting and health information management components. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Test and validate the build using Cerner tools, ensuring the accuracy of all quality management reports.- Understand all clinical workflows and strategically plan the best path forward for changes to the quality assurance, quality improvement and regulatory compliance aspects of the EHR throughout the three state psychiatric hospitals.- Promote proper use of the technology to ensure that appropriate credit is accorded the hospitals for the provided care.- Provide advice regarding all policies related to clinical care documentation and workflows to foster improvements to quality reporting metrics.- Participate in the development of new policies and determine how their implementation may best be supported by the Cerner EHR and reflected in the published metrics.- Provide quality management assessments regarding care documentation by the various disciplines;

Evaluate systems and promote systems improvement for management of population medicine and promote collaboration and communication between the various care delivery systems.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Collaborate with staff to improve patient satisfaction, productivity, clinic flow, and LEAN initiatives.- Research possible solutions and encourage others to identify opportunities associated with clinical activities to improve patient care according to standards of practice.- Champion process improvement and PDSA approach in developing, implementing and revising QI initiatives. - Oversee clinic data collection, health outcomes reporting, clinical audits, and evaluation related to Patient Centered Healthcare Home. - Facilitate monthly Care Team and Quality of Care Committee meetings,present periodic and scheduled reports related quality improvement data. - Evaluate clinical care, utilization of resources, and development of new clinical tools, forms, and procedures. - Collaborates with clinic staff to identify and track high-risk patients and assist in the coordination of various wellness and chronic disease activities. - Serve as Clinical Screening Coordinator for the BCCHP program; conduct outreach, coordinate with Public Health regarding patient care, advocate on behalf of the patient.
