When hired this campus was just implementing 1:1 technology in the classroom. Through the years, this has been expanded to all classrooms, and I have been an integral part of staff training and curriculum development across all content. In addition to running a high performing classroom, I have consistently exceeded goals set by the state as well as my district. I am often called on to develop technology focused curriculum, and staff training at the district level, as well as serve on advisory boards for ways to best implement tech. Day to day I compile and organize data for hundreds of students in order to implement changes that guarantee growth and success. I serve on 3 different content teams, and have held leadership positions on them all. I work with a diverse group of students who have a vast array of needs, all of which I assess and meet to guarantee their progress.I am required to multitask with a high level of efficiency traditionally, but when my school made the choice to teach online due to the covid outbreak new challenges were presented. I have been able to consistently meet these challenges, inspiring, motivating, and educating my students through a purely digital format. I have found ways to connect in this format, and help struggling students navigate technology and troubleshoot the many issues they face. I have been instrumental in finding new educational platforms, and creating hyperdocs, interactive training, and high quality designs to engage students. I have also had to teach my team how to implement these materials in their own digital classrooms.
