I have worked on a variety of scientific and fictional literary projects. In 2008, I wrote my Neuroscience Ph.D. dissertation on areas of the brain in primate species. In 2011, I wrote a case report for the Psychosomatics journal on a young boy with Klinefelter syndrome. In 2012, I published a book review on a text about treatment resistant depression.Later in 2012, I wrote three fictional children's stories, "The Two Princesses", "Cloud Road", and "The Lonely Dragon". I published these with The Book Patch, CreateSpace, and in digital format with Kindle. I have worked on a series about a boy and a dinosaur called "The Adventures of Isaiah and T-Rex." I also published "How to be Happy," a self-help book, in 2013. My current project is illustrating the text for my newest children's story, "The Third Princess."

I worked at a small satellite clinic associated with the New Orleans VA. I performed psychiatric evaluations for new clinic patients, medication management, psychoeducation, and some supportive psychotherapy.
