I am currently employed as a Senior Model Risk Analyst on the Enterprise Risk Management team at Regions Bank, where I oversee validation activities for the bank’s portfolio of models. Prior to taking this role, I worked as a data scientist on the Internal Audit Analytics team, where I lead new data product development to drive the use of predictive analytics within business units being audited. Over the course of my six year career in banking, I’ve used the bank’s Big Data tools (Hadoop, Python, Spark, CDSW, Impala, Power BI) to both build and test solutions for Wealth Management, BSA / AML, Fraud, Marketing, Operations, and Consumer Lending. My professional interests include developing quantitative talent, the successful implementation of ethical AI, and data visualization.
