With more than two years’ experience with Farmers Insurance, I am adept in written and verbal communication skills, knowledge in Microsoft office, and well versed in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks. I am well equipped with several technological data bases which aids in responding and running reports to maintain organization of my current workload. As a part of my current job responsibilities, I represent the company when meeting with attorneys, customers, attending Mediations, Small Claims, and/or Litigation hearings. While my experience within the Claims department has afforded me with a well-rounded skill set of time management, critical thinking skills, organizational skills and leadership tools. During my daily task, I implement my organization and strategic skills by gathering statements, scene photos, reviewing property damage, medical records and billing to aid in my analysis. Upon receipt of this information, I employ my critical thinking and analysis skills to conduct a thorough investigation to determine liability and evaluate complex injury claims. I also have an educational background in Sociology which provided me with interpersonal communication skills. This is a vital ability throughout negotiations with plaintiff attorneys and direct injured parties. This skill allows me to build rapport and relate to different demographics. I frequently interact with various stakeholders and present information in different ways to ensure all parties understand the information being provided.
