Within Land Development Job Functions Include:• Reviewing plans, designs, and other documentation submitted by developers for quality assurance, and compliance with Loudoun Water’s requirements and standards• Providing comments regarding plans, including sketches or other documents• Interacting with developers, individuals, their representatives and other stakeholders to resolve issues or questions• Monitoring and tracking project progress, including site visits as necessary• Coordinating fire flow requests to assist consultants in preparing water models or fire suppression sprinkler design• Assisting in development of reclaimed water systemThe first 18 months within Land Development were predominantly focused on bringing capital projects to completion. • Recommending changes and coordinating with contractors to resolve concerns and conflicts; approving (or recommending approval) of final designs• Serving as contract administrator for capital projects associated with Loudoun Water’s vertical assets and facilities• Interacting with internal stakeholders regarding capital projects; facilitates issues and strives to reach consensus • Tracking project progress, including field investigations and site visits; anticipates and mitigates risks and challenges• Reviewing and evaluating data and information related to forecasting, modeling, and assumptions that may impact capital projects• Reviewing project deliverables to ensure compliance with project objectives; ensuring stakeholder comments are addressed• Continued participation in the VAAWWA/VWEA joint Water Reuse Committee.

Prepared land development plans using Microstation.

Attributed water and sewer utilities in GIS, generated maps, researched old plans to improve digital records, and reviewed CE-7A's (now referred to as LUPs).

Assisted in sending out papers submitted for the ASCE Energy Journal for peer review prior to publication.
