Alongside interning for the National Black Justice Coalition, I completed academic studies and research through TWC to broaden my scope of knowledge within the journalism field.

Worked as a research intern covering healthcare, social issues, and legislation predominantly affecting the LGBT/same gender loving (SGL) and marginalized communities.I had three articles published during my time with the National Black Justice Coalition. One on the anniversary of Medicaid, another on the rollback of the Equal Access Rule, and the third on the Inclusivity of the Black Lives Matter Movement- focusing on the death of Colombian native, Anderson Arboleda.
