CurrentLeading a group of professionals from across a diverse workforce to form a team combining expertise to drive continuous improvement and quality outcomes for children at risk of harm, driving change and working with key stakeholders across agencies, NGOs, Iwi and other organisations finding innovative joint sustainable solutions to local challenges for children. Key area Leadership and Management – Leading in the public service context to develop service and people in contributing to a better New Zealand for children.Planning and Management – lead on change processes to capture and embed a new way of working Stakeholder/Relationship Management - Develop and maintain strong networks with all key internal and external stakeholders in their communityResource Management - Manage resources effectively and efficiently. monitor and report on budget expenditureRisk Management - Ensure that vetting and screening and child protection policies are in place to manage any associated risks.Staff Administration, Management and Development - develop and lead a highly effective team of frontline Lead Professionals to contribute to reducing child vulnerabilityManaging Internal and External key relationships – including senior managers, representatives of government departments, agencies, NGO/Community groups, local government and Iwi.Working closely with Mana whenua kaumatua to improve outcome for tamariki and whanau
