20 years experience with administrative/clerical work within a clinical setting. I have a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration/Health system specialist; with a complementary Masters of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. The two programs combined with my extensive office management skills help to create well functioning and streamlined processes. My innovative thinking and ability to see the "big picture" bring continuity within a consistently changing environment, adapting to the modern needs of our patients. I have studied and modeled my perception of healthcare after the Mayo clinic, as their processes and service has been the leading in the industry for more than 150 years. I also have a military background working with computers and communications systems. I am educated on benefits and assist veterans in filing, primarily Vietnam and Gulf War illnesses. I am a licensed Contracting Officer Representative, level 2 and purchase major acquisitions for the VA Hospital to include: medical sharing, equipment, consignments, BPA, firm fixed price, and commodities.
