The journalist in me likes nothing better than finding a great story and telling it to the world. Stories drive people to love a brand, feel a connection with it and want to be a part of it. I have combined my enthusiasm for story telling with marketing and my passion for life changing education. I’m innovative and competitive. In my current role at Millfield School, in Somerset, I have delivered the school’s Discover Brilliance campaign, was a key member of the team tasked with redefining the school’s purpose, mission, vision and values, which makes Millfield stand out from the crowd as a world leading and progressive educational establishment. I have launched an award-winning new website, established a strong PR and digital strategy which has transformed the school’s media coverage, overhauled all publications and enhanced the school’s brand identity. All these activities have combined to build up considerable momentum and a buzz around Millfield that has driven significant increases in enquiries and visits from prospective families, resulting in waiting lists for entry to the school. I am experienced in producing and implementing marketing recruitment strategies in both the state and independent education sectors during the last 8 years.Specialities: marketing, strategy, brand development, media relations and press releases, writing, communications, editing, web content, social media, advertising, film and imagery.Awards include Platinum award for Millfield ‘Overall Website for an Educational institution’ in the 2020 Hermes Creative Awards.
