For over twenty years, I have worked on and around film sets. In April 2013 I began working within the Art Department and loved it from the first day. As my work has been varied and interesting, I have held a variety of Art Department roles on productions filmed in Manchester and further afield. I have a keen eye for detail and a love of design. Previous to my Art Experience I worked for ten years within the Costume Department for Film, Television, Theatre and Education.I have qualified with an MA in Screenwriting from Leeds Metropolitan University. Skills developed include writing for Television, Continuing Drama, Comedy, Short Film, Adaptation and Feature Film. Throughout the two-year course I also completed regular Script Reports/Script Analysis and took part in script-development of my own and colleagues’ work. My passion, however, is writing and script development, for TV, Film and Radio. I have long felt that my script writing and development is aided by my experience of working on set. I am eager for the chance to apply my experience in this direction. I would relish the opportunity to showcase my abilities and learn new scriptwriting and development skills.
