I write timely news and feature stories that apply to readers for McHenry County Magazine, Kane County Chronicle, Kane County Magazine and Lake County Magazine. I make the front-page news, but trust me, it's a good thing!

I edit client reports sent out through the Business Valuation Group and the Transactional Tax Planning Group, for accuracy, quality and grammar. Additionally, I interview and interact with clients, financial analysts, consultants and senior management personnel to gather information and develop and draft content for client reports, which include business valuations and transactional tax plans. I operate under weekly deadlines while collaborating with a range of colleagues to ensure all clients' goals are met and their expectations exceeded. I'm also a contributing author to our company newsletter and company magazine, and I assist in proofreading and editing copy for company brochures, marketing literature, miscellaneous internal and external publications, as well as take on other special projects, when requested by senior management.

I was the newsroom assistant/community reporter for the Quad-City Times in Davenport, Iowa, right after I graduated from college. I did freelance work for the newspaper while I attended college.
