- Collection Management: Perform in depth record analysis and collection management of the UW Libraries collection of +9 million materials using Ex Libris Alma and Microsoft Excel.- Data collection: Gather headcount data at 7 branch libraries to understand how users interact with the library. This data is compiled in Microsoft Excel and qualitative coding methods applied in order to visualize usage.- Collaborative Work: Work as part of a small team within a large library system to manage multiple large-scale projects at a time. This includes the relocation of 250k materials from the main library while also addressing collections issues within the Music Branch library.- Governance: Maintain internal documentation, communications, and best practices using Plone content management system and Google Drive.- Customer Service: Interface with 50-100 users daily at the library desk, in addition to answering research reference questions and user queries.

In this position my responsibilities are:- Working in Ex Libris Alma to perform circulation tasks and record management- Assist with reference questions- Staff the seven different subject branch libraries on the UW Seattle campus, providing assistance to library patrons- Perform circulation processes such as processing requested materials, shelving, and checking in/out materials- Conduct inventory, shift materials, and assist with other projects as needed

- Construct Taxonomy: As part of Masters’ program thesis project, collaborated with Epic Games to help build a working taxonomy for the Online Learning Portal.- Qualitative Data Analysis: Analyzed keywords in OpenRefine, created a codebook of learning concepts using PoolParty and MURAL to develop a controlled vocabulary and a rudimentary hierarchy. - User Experience: Developed an interactive survey in order to understand how different types of users interact with the Learning Portal to inform future taxonomy development.

- Cataloging: Create, edit, and manage data catalog records within the IHME Global Health Data Exchange (GHDx) using IHME defined metadata schema.- Research Assistant: Retrieve and evaluate census records and conduct research using internal and external knowledge systems for the Census Demographics team.- Taxonomy: Perform keyword and controlled vocabulary maintenance to ensure consistency across the IHME content management system.- Data Curation: Clean and standardize US Census COVID-19 data using bulk metadata editor and IHME naming and data storage conventions to input data into the IHME content management system.

Collection Creation: Generate new collections of Ebooks within the OCLC Knowledge Base that focus on religious studies. Record location: Search within OCLC WorldCat and modify the record metadata to better reflect the source.Identify open access Ebooks from scholarly sources, such as the Internet Archive and Texas A&M Libraries to populate collections.

Research Assistant: As part of Honors Program thesis project, worked under the Bellingham Public Library (BPL) director to gather research data for the Strategic Plan Committee. Document Analysis: Identified 50+ comparable libraries on a regional and national level and evaluated their strategic plan documents based on content, clarity, and visual accessibility.

Branch Metric Analyst: Worked with Branch Director of the Nashville Public Library (NPL) to evaluate circulation and usage data at 16 branch libraries. Strategic Plan Data: Created data visualizations in Microsoft Excel for each branch. Visualizations were compiled and used by library leadership and the NPL strategic plan.
