- Promotes and coordinates the "Call Before You Cut" program- Researches technical data & implements program policy/procedure- Provides technical advice to landowners to address forestry-related questions- Develops informational program materials

- Administration of timber sales on state forest lands- Timber inventory and assessment- Outreach and education- Wildland fire operations including prescribed burning and wildfire suppression

• Administration of land restoration operations for over 200,000 acres of state forest land at Tate’s Hell State Forest • Supervision of the Tate’s Hell Forestry Section, including seven direct reports and several volunteers. Oversight of budgeting, hiring, onboarding, training, and personnel services.• Contract and grant management as a Florida Certified Contract Manager for the procurement of services and goods, including over $1 million in timber sales and $4 million in federal grants. • Public outreach including written and oral communication, educational events, and landowner assistance. • Liaison with outside interest groups including federal and state governments, local organizations, and researchers.

• Field forestry including timber inventory and natural resources analysis.• Data management through ArcGIS and Excel, including data collection, interpretation, and records management.• Field contract monitoring with inspections and contractor communications for silvicultural operations. • Forest health monitoring including identification of invasive and exotic species.• Prescribed burning operational assistance including prescriptions, maps, and participation.

• Oversight of state fair operations for the Division of Forestry including volunteer coordination, display management, and public engagement• Office duties including publication creation and editing, customer service, and records management. • Timber management including timber marking, tree planting, GPS data collection, and Champion Tree data collection • Invasive species detection and treatment.

• Collection and maintenance of tree inventory data, including diameter, species, and geolocation, for both Chadwick Arboretum and The Ohio State University campus. • Database management through Microsoft Access and ArcGIS. • General landscape maintenance including tree planting, leaf blowing, and weed removal. • Public outreach including assistance with website design and participation in public events, including donor outreach and volunteer engagement.
