About Elizabeth Day

I am a second-year MBA student at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. I have over seven years of experience as a professional nonprofit fundraiser. Primarily, my work focused on raising money through direct marketing as well as through multi-channel giving campaigns. My previous roles have provided me with the following core skills:• Research and analysis: I designed research studies and performed qualitative and quantitative analyses throughout my education and career.• Problem-solving: With limited resources and time, I formulated strategies and designed appeals to reach and exceed annual fundraising goals.• Visual communication: I created reports and presentations with synthesized data to inform volunteers, board members, and stakeholders on fundraising progress.• Collaborative teamwork: I worked on cross-functional teams to contribute to the success of both the Development department and the organization as a whole.• Relationship-building: I created strong relationships with donors and volunteers to further their commitment to the organization and increase their financial support.I am eager to use the skills developed and refined through my fundraising career, coupled with the marketing and strategic tools acquired at Kellogg, to make a positive impact in the for-profit sector.
