As a specialist in marketing and communications I have worked in collaboration to offer bespoke design, communications and marketing solutions in the fields of website creation/development, graphic design, PR, traditional/digital marketing and events management to a variety of industries including property, construction and development markets plus charity and not-for-profit clients. The work has been diverse and regularly pushes me out of my comfort zone, expanding my capabilities and key skills. From brochures, newsletters and exhibitions through content planning, marketing strategies and digital campaigns to creative solutions on a smaller scale every project I apply myself to stands the best chance of success. I worked in the Visual Communications department where I managed a team of designers on internal and external communication projects. Clients included: Britvic, Marsh and Microsoft. Also seconded to Tube Lines to manage change-communication as they relocated 3,000 employees.

Overseeing the entire design and development process with specific responsibility for pre-press approval of all publications. I chaired regular meetings to improve efficiency, liaised with print and distribution houses and consulted on new design techniques. Clients included: BAA, Bass and Vauxhall Motors. Also seconded to Guinness to manage electronic newsletter production.

Organising the day-to-day running of the Publishing department. I instigated and wrote weekly client progress reports and also created a department manual as a reference document. Twice recipient of Chairman’s Award of Excellence in addition to Merit Awards for working over-and-above expectations.
