Project Manager for work streams between various Plant sites and CCAS. Recommended numerous wide ranging specific analytical techniques (GC/MS, LC/MS, WAXS, rheology, NMR, TEM, SEM, DSC, TGA, IR, Raman, ICP-MS) to understand the issues at hand, managed sample flow to and from CCAS, coordinated, analyzed and compiled data from multiple analytical techniques to present overall conclusions, and wrote in-depth analytical reports summarizing the results of all the analyses.Independently performed 1D and 2D NMR analyses to fully characterize materials for Competitive Analysis, Regulatory (REACh), research projects, and to address/solve specific plant/processing problems. This encompassed NMR instrument maintenance and calibrations, data analysis, data presentations, and documentation/report writing.Coordinated and recommended biological testing of bio-active molecules between chemists and biologists to help direct research efforts and shorten the time it takes to initiate research projects. This included data collection from team members across a wide range of functional groups (Chemistry, Biology, Computational Chemistry, Sourcing, and Chemical Acquisitions Groups), creating and developing methods to obtain statistics on comparative bio-activity, and data analysis/management to track the activity and status of research chemistry.Routinely used various data analysis and reporting software and database systems including Microsoft Office, SciFinder®, MDL ISIS™ database, Data Warehouse (Microstategy® UI), SciTegic® Pipeline Pilot, Spotfire®, and others.Synthesized analogs of lead molecules to optimize crop protection properties. Syntheses included multi-step reactions as well as some solid phase and parallel syntheses. Work-ups/characterizations included extractions, triturations, filtrations, recrystallizations, TLC, MPLC, NMR, LC/MS, and GC.
