Engineer dually working with the Carbon Storage Program Support team and the Subsurface Energy Analysis team in the Systems Engineering and Analysis division of the National Energy and Technology Laboratory. This position combines program planning and support with engineering and economic modeling, allowing me to sharpen my skills in project management as well as conduct research in the field of carbon storage.

Assist Keylogic's Subsurface Energy Analyst team with various projects contracted out by the Fossil Energy Department at the Pittsburgh National Energy and Technology Laboratory site. I conduct literary reviews, perform data analysis, and write and submit reports on varying subjects within the topic of carbon capture and sequestration.

A sustainable architecture design competition hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy, that challenges teams to develop a high performance, net-zero energy home. I am serving as a team leader for the Energy Analysis and Solar Design subteam. Our subteam used the System Advisor Model (SAM) Program and SketchUp software to model and analyze the solar array for the new home design to offset all energy usage and reach a net zero rating.The Penn State Race to Zero Architecture Design Competition team worked with a local housing contractor to redesign their most popular home model. The team worked together in order to increase energy efficiency and offset the homes energy consumption through advanced envelope design, passive and active solar installation, and other net zero building techniques.
