As Mate on the M/Y NOI Von der Heyden Yachting. My charter operations and guest relations skills have played a key role in the success of our charter team in the Caribbean. We've provided exceptional experiences(mostly) for guests from diverse backgrounds, making sure that they have the best views and luxurious stay at each Caribbean destination.As the Mate, I ensure the deck is prepared on time and always in prestige condition even when we are busy. I am also responsible for the operation and readiness of all water toys on board, ensuring they are fully functional and ready for use at any time. I primarily operate the tender for both guests and crew, so I am responsible for its maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.Navigational duties are shared between myself and the Captain. I’ve assisted all Captains I’ve worked with, particularly in shore logistics, customs clearances, and managing onboard projects and vendors during operations.My time aboard M/Y NOI has significantly sharpened my deck, navigational, and operational skills, providing me with intensive hands-on experience.And I really enjoyed it though it was intense.

Usual look out duties with an Officer during sailing.Assisting female guests and kids when on operation.Assisting in snorkeling, jet skis and other water toy activities.Doing daily set up of yacht marina, slides and play platforms.Deck preparation, painting jobs, deck maintenance, tender driving and crane operations.
