I work in an outpatient electrophysiology device clinic that follows over 4,000 patients. My job involves pacemaker, defibrillator, and loop recorder interrogations, both in-office and remotely, and documenting these interrogations in the EMR and Paceart. I provide cardiac device education for patients and help get patients enrolled in remote monitoring and with keeping them connected. I triage patient phone calls and concerns and communicate frequently with MDs, APPs, MAs, and other support staff to ensure timely and quality patient care. Collaborated and contributed with colleagues to create new systems to make our remote clinic billable.
