As the Corporate Sustainability Manager, Elizabeth is a passionate advocate for advancing social sustainability through equity, inclusion, and diversity. In highly collaborative and evolving roles over six years, Elizabeth partners with members of corporate and regional teams across her organization including, executive leadership, HR, talent acquisition, learning and development, corporate communications, marketing, facilities, employee resource groups, and the DEI&B Steering Committee to advise, coordinate, support, and champion embedding equity, inclusion, and diversity in VHB’s mission, vision, culture, and business strategy. Elizabeth also acts as a company liaison with legal counsel and government agencies on affirmative action, nondiscrimination, and equal opportunity employment compliance. Elizabeth finds meaning and purpose in helping people live better lives through thriving and flourishing at work. Her career began as a registered pharmacist upon graduation from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. degree. Previously working in pharmaceutical, biotech, and multi-media marketing and sales roles gained her a breadth of experience that is foundational to her unique multi-faceted role now. In her spare time, she loves spending time outside walking on nature trails and NH beaches while listening to music, meditations, and podcasts about neuroscience, health, and psychology.
