Find me at the EFA: https://www.the-efa.org/memberinfo/elizabeth-littrell-33928/After getting my BFA in creative writing, I went to work in the film industry as a literary assistant, helping screenwriters develop and polish their scripts. Following graduate school, I transitioned to the education space, where I worked at a UC campus as a media and technology consultant. From there, I had the opportunity to pivot back to writing, and I’m happy to assist writers and publishers as a freelance copy editor/line editor, proofreader, beta reader, and e-book QA checker (checking hyperlinks/internal navigation links, formatting, and any other text or design issues that might arise after conversion).Today, I enjoy working on both fiction and nonfiction projects that run the gamut from cookbooks to self-help workbooks, science experiments for kids to ethical hacking guides, and romance novels to literary fiction. I thrive on quick turnarounds and a fast-paced routine, and I can work with you to get your project taken care of as quickly as possible.I love all genres, though I have a soft spot for historical fiction with magical realism elements, young adult, horror, fantasy, speculative works, and darker-leaning literary fiction. My eclectic interests also make any type of nonfiction fun: Need someone with coding knowledge? I’m always excited to learn a new coding language. Working on a book about crocheting? Learned when I was seven and still know the ropes. Gardening? I’ve got an ever-growing jungle with everything from herbs to lilies. History? I love it, all the way from Durant to Dan Carlin. I livestream video games, dabble in the circus arts, adhere to a weightlifting and distance running routine for health and fitness, and have studied four languages.Whatever subject you’re dealing with, I’m excited to learn about it!Professional Development, Courses, and Refreshers:Line Editing for Fiction and Creative Nonfiction: Beginning and Intermediate levels (EFA, 2022; Christina M.
