The through-line in my career has been recruitment and people development. I started my career as an organizer, believing that one of the best ways to make social change is through collective, grassroots action. I recruited college students, stay-at-home parents, and outraged community members to join our work and coached them into becoming even more powerful leaders in their community. Our campaigns were successful because I brought others into the movement and invested in them, so they stayed and grew. As I progressed in my career, I've taken this same approach, and been able to scale up my impact, by creating people-centered, systems and processes that enable social change organizations to recruit and retain diverse, talented, and mission-driven folks.Skills: talent acquisition; change management; strategic planning; employee relations; project management; professional development; leadership development; performance management; diversity, equity and inclusion; building positive team culture; budgeting; operations; behavioral science; behavioral economics"You don't need to be a voice for the voiceless.
