With over 15 years of experience in marketing, branding, and communications, I am passionate about creating and delivering impactful and engaging messages that resonate with diverse audiences and stakeholders. My mission is to enhance and enrich the employee journey for the Akima portfolio and its 45+ companies, from attracting talent to offboarding, and to communicate the rich heritage, culture, values, and perspectives of Akima's indigenous Alaskan Iñupiaq shareholders.As the Director of Stakeholder Engagement at Akima, I oversee recruitment marketing strategy and positioning, the development and implementation of employee retention efforts, and the communication of Akima's brand and culture through interior design and signage in our facilities nationwide. I am also involved in the creation of marketing and communications materials for Akima and its subsidiaries, including digital, print, events, and multimedia presentations. I leverage my skills in finance, investments, and public speaking to support Akima's business development and success, and serve on the board of Akima's nonprofit arm, Akima Gives.
