Elizabeth Caudill McClain serves as Senior Vice President, Talent Strategies at the Dallas Regional Chamber. She oversees the DRC’s talent attraction, retention, and development initiatives and the DRC leadership programs including Young Professionals, Leadership Dallas, and Leadership Dallas Alumni.She is a DCEO Magazine featured expert on workforce development and career pathways, an alumnus of the inaugural Dallas Economic Opportunity Leadership Academy facilitated by the Aspen Institute, Engage Dallas, the ACCE National Fellowship for Education Attainment, and was appointed by Dallas City Councilmember David Blewett to serve as Vice-Chair of the Dallas Community Development Commission for four years.She serves on the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Commissioner’s Education & Workforce Council, the Dallas Mayor’s Workforce Steering Committee, and the boards of Per Scholas DFW, a non-profit workforce development program focused on opening doors to transformative technology careers for underrepresented communities, and Urban Teachers DFW, a non-profit that prepares, certifies and supports new educators to be highly effective so they can provide high-quality education for children.She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Texas Christian University and served a year in AmeriCorps VISTA at Northwestern University before earning her Masters of Education in Higher Education Public Policy at Southern Methodist University. She holds a Public Leadership Credential from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and is an alumnus in the University of Texas at Austin’s LBJ School of Public Affairs Women’s Campaign School. When she isn't gushing about talent and workforce, she enjoys running, singing as loud as she can at karaoke, and exploring new cities camping with her husband Clint.
