My mission is to thoughtfully collaborate to tell the stories that need to be heard. I believe that when our work demands attention, it inspires positive change and leaves lasting impressions on others who will continue this important tradition.With a background full of following instinctive threads, I moved from Wisconsin to Nova Scotia to study jazz. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Voice & Composition and developed a fulfilling creative process that keeps me challenged. From collaborative improvisation in an ensemble to the thrill of a spontaneously improvised solo set, I discovered a longing for artistic exploration. The curiosity of creation compelled me to further explore this approach as an actress by training at Second City in Chicago.After eight career-developing years in Los Angeles, I have returned to my Midwestern roots! I currently live/work in Chicago representing national commercial brands, storytelling in TV & Film, and just looking for creative magic. In addition to staying connected to my craft/industry via workshops and private coaching sessions with casting directors, I enjoy taking classes that challenge me to play hard by taking bold risks and making strong choices.

My passion for improv doesn't end in the entertainment industry. There is a great need for creative solutions in the non-profit world! I work with NoStigmas (nostigmas.org) which is a mental health awareness and suicide prevention organization. Focused on peer support from a lived experience perspective, I co-created the Ally Program and created the Trauma Aware Interactions program. As an empowered survivor, I believe anyone can be an ally to themselves and others when it comes to mental wellness.

I adore baking delicious things and hold a 1st Degree Black Belt Tae Kwon Do (I make a mean strawberry rhubarb crumble and throw a nice sidekick). 
I’m just as fascinated reading about The Lydian Chromatic Theory as I am seeing if Frodo ever does destroy the ring. Spoiler alert: he did.
