As a public relations/marketing consultant I service small business clients and political candidates throughout South Texas with their marketing needs. From message development to website content, I help clients get their story out to the community. Develop and execute PR campaigns that met the specialized needs of each client. Responsible for developing a working relationship with reporters and other media representatives, and keeping in contact with different schools under the Training Support Center at Great Lakes Naval Academy in Great Lakes, Illinois. Reporter and photographer for the base newspaper, The Great Lakes Bulletin. Organized and led tours of the naval base for small and large groups. Assisted in the planning of base events, such as speaker presentations and celebrity visits.
