In addition to the above employment, I have worked five years in public accounting at Deloitte (New Orleans and New York City). As a Senior Auditor I was responsible for planning audit engagements and managing audit staffs for clients in commercial real estate, financial institutions, healthcare/hospitals, universities and non-profit organizations. Experienced in working with publicly traded companies on SEC reporting as well as initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Prepared financial reports including audited, reviewed and compiled financial statements and SEC reporting. I began my banking career in Loan Review of commercial and commercial real estate loans. I was then promoted to the Line of Business Controller of C&I Lending Division at Hibernia National Bank and moved to Bank of America as the Controller of its Private Client Group. Responsibilities included preparing and overseeing an annual $300M operating budget and $50M capital budget, forecasts and financial analysis, presenting financial results to executive management, creating profitability reports for each of over 50 Private Client offices in the U.S. Managed a staff of four finance associates.
