Managed multiple policy and technical assistance projects focusing on the development of clean energy projects with state, local, and tribal governments. Success metrics included the development of clean energy projects (i.e. MW in the ground) and on-time, in budget execution of projects. In addition to official success metrics, I measure my own success in assistance to colleagues in accomplishing their career goals and forming effective teams. In this position, I managed projects for the US Department of Energy Office of Indian Energy and the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy's Solar and Weatherization and Intergovernmental Programs.

In this position I led a project team analyzing energy efficiency and renewable energy planning, policies, and programs at the state, local, and tribal government levels. Conceptualized and carried out research resulting in establishing new methodologies for and publications regarding effectiveness of programs and policies. A large part of the job was to convene stakeholders from a range of markets to better understand market penetration of technologies. For two years, I supported the development of effective policies and programs for energy infrastructure redevelopment in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, including design and in involvement in a large stakeholder driven strategic planning process. In this role I supported projects with private companies, the US Department of Energy's Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Office (Buildings, Solar, Biomass, Geothermal, Wind, Hydrogen, and Weatherization and Intergovernmental Programs), the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the US Environmental Protection Agency.

I worked on policy analytics around federal air conditioner standards, state level utility energy efficiency programs, and effectiveness of labeling programs at meeting their goals.
