I worked with a teacher located in Boston who required assistance with an Arabic class. He was assigned to monitor students' project with an online Arabic language module. Since he lacked expertise in Arabic, I assisted him with project design for a summer class from my home in Silver Spring, MD. I assigned students two options for the project: create a biography or write a children's book.I created directions for the project and edited students' drafts. Another teacher provided direct teaching support to the students, but I graded the final projects.

With NPR, I produced, wrote, and broadcasted a self-designed piece on Arabic education in the United States. This piece discussed the limitations in Arabic education due to a lack of funding and resources for the teachers. The project consisted of my own original research. I also cut and recorded all of the audio. In addition to this project, I wrote and edited daily news clips for the morning and evening news. These news clips included audio from interviews that I conducted.
