I have a PhD from the laboratory of Dr. John Rossi under the Center for RNA Biology and Therapeutics. My dissertation work was focused on RNAi-based approaches to enhance CAR T-cell therapeutics. I have industry experience in the validation of small molecule chemotherapeutics and preclinical experience developing HIV immunotherapies in murine models. During my thesis work, I collaborated on RNA-based research at City of Hope and worked on a team capstone project consulting for a company through the Keck Graduate Institute. In addition to research, I served as Vice President for our Graduate School Organization and was a member of our Beckman Symposium Committee. I would like to develop my career in the biotech industry to help further gene therapy, immuno-oncology, or pre-clinical therapeutics research.
