After a long and successful career as a Costume Supervisor for film and television, Elizabeth Feldbauer has returned to her interest in history and research and has recently earned a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute in NYC. She is currently working as an independent visual researcher and has just completed archival research for the costume design team on the new Showtime production of FELLOW TRAVELERS, coming out soon. In addition, she has provided research for the FX miniseries "UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN" and "FOSSE/VERDON". Elizabeth also works as an independent library consultant, cataloging, organizing and curating personal and professional libraries.Elizabeth loves delving into all different time periods, scouring the archives for visual clues to an era's fashions or furnishings and contributing telling details that add to the verisimilitude of a creative project. This has led her to a second career of providing research for designers, writers, filmmakers and other creatives. In addition to her film and television work, Elizabeth has also worked as a faculty research assistant to an esteemed Columbia University professor and author, conducting historical and biographic research to support his various writing and film projects.
