I with a team of 6 work to create an inviting and energetic community for our 200 plus residents. Part of this work is creating a multitude of varied events oriented for personal and academic development along with community bonding and cultural learning. In addition to this, I am personally responsible for the care of 36 residents which includes pastoral care and assistance for the residents.

PIRPALS is Peer Assisted Learning Scheme (PALS) oriented for Politics and International Relations (PIR) students at the University of Edinburgh. As a PIRPALS leader, I lead peer to peer study sessions focusing on course content along with academic study and writing skills. My work consists of facilitating debates and discussion, organizing sessions and activities, as well as providing guidance for first year university students. Additionally, I worked in recruiting students for the sessions resulting in my session having the highest attendance. I was one of hundreds of PALS leaders chosen to attend a UK PALS conference at the University of Bath in 2015 and represent the PALS programs at an external review of the university.

My main focus was the promotion of Jabil's internal continuous improvement competition, Deliver Best Practices. This opportunity is an exciting experience working with a remotely based international Communications Team on a company-wide project that includes employees from nearly 17 countries around the world. This work includes the creation of promotional materials, such as videos and articles, along with coordinating the organization and execution of each judging round in the competition. This has included in promotion participation in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2015 and advertising for charity cycle from London to Brussels in July 2015. Additionally, I undertook the organization and ordering of supplies for the charity, its supporters, and events. Furthermore, I managed the charity social media accounts resulting in over 200% increase in activity and reach.
