Impact consulting firm working with nonprofits and foundations to build and scale promising models for social change, identify collaborative, lasting solutions to community problems, evaluate their impact in the community, and build strong, productive, high functioning teams. Selected nonprofit clients: Chicago Scholars, Embarc, Chicago Debate League, Communities in Schools, High Jump Chicago, Citizen Schools Illinois, KIPP Chicago. Selected foundation clients: A Better Chicago, Jewish United Fund, Circle of Service, Chicago Community Trust, Ounce of Prevention Fund, McCormick Foundation, Steans Family Foundation. In-house consulting roles include:-Director, Creative Schools Fund at Ingenuity - oversee $2.5M in annual granting directly to Chicago Public Schools to support arts education (Jan 2016-present)-Consultant, IL State Early Learning Council – renovate the structure and functions of the state’s public private partnership; establish a new strategic vision, priorities, and increase relevance and visibility (June 2015-October 2017) -Program Architect at Bright Pink- build a new national program model to educate young women in cancer prevention; lead training and education for national ambassadors (Sept. 2012-Sept. 2014)

Deliver on the organization’s ten year goals to advance economic stability for 100,000 households, help 50,000 kids enter high school ready to succeed, connect 200,000 people to available, preventive health services, and meet the immediate crisis needs of over 1 million people annually. Oversee approximately $40M in annual grant-making—the largest human service investment, behind government, across a six county metropolitan footprint.Transform UWMC from a broad based historical funder (with 500 agency partners) to an impact organization whose investments support evidence-based Income, Education, Health, and Crisis strategies associated with prescribed metrics; narrow and deepen investments to reach defined impact; narrow agency partner pool to 200 partners (2008-2011).Architect UWMC’s Live United 2020 vision—a ten year commitment to communities of highest need across the metropolitan region (from 276 neighborhoods down to 47); weave together human service infrastructure; measure the impact amplification of integrated service delivery.

Forward Financial Stability initiatives and launch $12.5M in health investments targeting access to primary and mental health care and prevention of chronic disease. Ultimately responsible for stewardship of 58% of UWMC's total funding. Seamless launch of income and health initiatives led to promotions each year, culminating in VP position in 2010.

Hired to launch UWMC's first community impact effort to use $5M in annual grant making in support of economic self sufficiency for low-income populations.

Reporting to the CEO, responsible for project management, program development, and organizational engagement for agency’s new strategic vision, called the ‘Model YWCA.’ Led executive team through strategic project-related decision-making, resulting in successful launch of first Model YWCA center on Chicago’s South Side in January 2008.

In first year, brought in over half a million dollars to support sexual violence and economic empowerment programs, primarily through government, foundation, corporate, and in-kind grants, with some individual contributions. 50% new revenue resulting in new program launches (TechGYRLS (technology training for girls), Economic Empowerment).

Chosen by National Board Chair to lead a committee of nine regional representatives to:• Evaluate the effectiveness of advocacy systems at local, regional, and national levels• Develop the structure and functions of a national advocacy office in D.C.• Formulate a grassroots-driven national advocacy agenda• Design and initiate a plan for the formation of state advocacy councils• Organize nation-wide delegations for the April 25th, 2004 March for Women’s Lives

Recruit and train 150+ volunteers for the city's only crisis line for survivors of rape, violence, and abuse.

Work in the Chicago Public Schools to raise awareness of rape, violence, and abuse.
