I was brought into this DTC CPG startup to direct the creative pipeline from ideation to implementation while managing a team of vendors. As producer for this production company, I managed production of corporate, internal, short form, animation and advertising video for clients from SMEs to blue chip companies. I was the founder of this photography education platform with a monthly readership of 100k, Facebook presence of 50k and email list of 17k. Writing over 800 tutorials and editorials, I was paid to guest-post on other sites, write magazine editorials, teach online classes, make appearances in leading forums, webinars and podcasts, 1:1 consulting with clients globally and producing sponsored content. I was also profiled in a book about photographers. My focus was on building personal brand, pricing structures for service based creative businesses, managing client expectations and the sales process for commissioned artists. In 2014, I sold the rights to that intellectual property.

As the Director of PR for Cure Rett, I ran digital marketing and public relations for the charity. At the time, we were the fastest growing social media presence for any Rett cause or charity. I worked on production and direction for our feature-length documentary film and our various short films.Additionally, I used my skills as a photographer to photograph and execute our 'Hi' campaign with which we spread awareness about the condition.I use my writing background to author the Cure Rett blog where we break down the science of Rett in plain English. I liaised with doctors and scientists and then break down their terminology and technospeak for everyday people, bringing the exciting world of MECP2 research to the masses.Working with Cure Rett meant I got to work with the biggest doctors and scientists in the world of Rett syndrome and MECP2 related disorders which was a massive honour.
