Liz Foster is a Associate Director, Community Affairs at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Colleagues describe her as "In the three years I had the pleasure of working with Liz, she showed time and again there was no assignment, regardless how great or challenging, she would not tackle with skill, confidence and precision. Her capacity to understand our organization stretched from the global view of our mission to the importance of the minutia we encounter every day. Before departing Trieste, Liz created from scratch and developed a successful University Counseling program as well as a curricular scheme for an elective course in Communication. While these particular projects are obviously specific to a secondary school setting, the skill set Liz demonstrated in carrying out each would transfer to any sector and any function. Tenacious, reliable and acutely aware of both her surroundings and their implication on the task at hand, Liz is a tremendous colleague and person."
