My current focus is Breast Cancer Survivorship, utilising my medical and coaching skills to optimise Cancer Survivorship programs for Breast cancer units. With more and more cancer survivors worldwide, this is an area that has not received the attention it deserves. I am passionate about assisting survivors through the process of diagnosis and treatment, and to help them thrive, not just survive. I qualified as a Medical doctor in 1990. I worked in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa as a Medical Officer in Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine and General Practice. For the last 15 years I have been part of a multidisciplinary team,managing patients with Breast Cancer. I have assisted hundreds of patients in the areas of lifestyle modification, disease prevention, cancer survivorship and health risk mitigation. I successfully created my own Health and Wellness business in 2001 through which I helped multiple people change their health for the better. I am an experienced public speaker, and have also been involved in coaching health coaches. I completed a Health and Wellness coaching qualification through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy in February 2022, and passed the exam of the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches in October 2022.
